Na pitanje kako se njeno roditeljstvo promenilo pevačica je odgovorila da je sada bolji slušalac. Blu, njena osmogodišnja ćerka, je veoma pametna i kako navodi jasno razume raspored roditelja, ali je napomenula da je uloga majke da joj obezbedi da njen svet bude što pozitivniji i ispunjeniji.

Dobitnica Gremi nagrade takođe je podelila da uživa u tome što je kod kuće sa svoje troje dece, Blu i trogodišnjim blizancima Ser i Rumijem. "Iskreno negujem ovaj put sa svojom porodicom, a moj novi cilj je da usporim i provodim sve više vremena sa njima", izjavila je ona.
